Too often, we receive links and messages about oppression taking place somewhere in the world.  I believe most of those messages are passed on in good faith, to raise awareness. Yet, it is not enough to raise awareness without providing ways to take action, because the problem will still remain. Sometimes, people tend to be immobilized with too much horrifying information because the problem seems to be too overwhelming and they can’t seem to do anything.

Child sexual abuse is one such issue. People rarely talk about it because it is difficult to accept, and it tends to be overwhelming – where do we start, what do we do, how can we help?

The best way to win a case is to prevent it. I sincerely believe this. In my more than 20 years of being a lawyer, this is certainly the way to go. In child sexual abuse most especially, the best way to win is to prevent it. And we do this by equipping people in the community to know how to prevent it, and to deal with it if and when it happens.

We provide practical training for parents, teachers, community leaders, church workers, and everyone concerned about child sexual abuse. Entitled KEEP THEM SAFE NOW: STOP CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE, this four-hour training is a worthwhile investment for your church,  group, organization, school or community. It takes only PHP5,000 to sponsor a training, or to invite us to train your group, within Metro Manila. Outside Metro Manila, you will have to provide transportation and accommodation for us.
